St Birgid's Cathedral & Round Tower

St Brigid’s Cathedral in Kildare Town was built by the Norman Bishop Ralph of Bristol in 1223. The entire site is steeped in important religious history; it’s believed to be the location at which Saint Brigid, one of Ireland’s patron saints, founded a nunnery in the 5th century and is located just 5km from The Keadeen.

Russborough House

Sir Alfred and Lady Beit bought Russborough in County Wicklow in 1952 to house their impressive art collection. They left this historic Palladian mansion, its collections and their fascinating life story to the Irish public in 1978.

Burtown House & Gardens

The gardens are made up of several areas, including large herbaceous borders, shrubberies, a rock garden, a yew walk divided by a pergola, a sundial garden, an old orchard, a walled organic vegetable garden and a large woodland garden.

Military Museum @ The Curragh

The Curragh Camp has its own museum, that you can visit and take in the marvels of this magnificent geographical and historical site.
